Ephéméride is a word derived from a one day at a time calendar. This installation comprises a series of suspended silk rubbings taken from tombstone life span dates. A line of charcoal text directly stencilled on the wall enlists a selection of perennials. Names of plants that bloom once a year as a flower but if displaced turn to weed

Viewer’s movements send fluctuating currents of air that waiver the silk. Loose ash formations set into seemingly solid forms simulate the floorboards matrix, however they may turn to dust upon touch
