SYNOPSIS

On a rooftop overlooking an onerous panoramic cityscape; donning broken feathered wings; the artist proceeds to embody an eagle (Garudasana) posture.

Reminiscent of Wim Wender’s "Wings of Desire"; the artist not only exploits the films fictitious arch angel thematic in relation to solitude, desire and (im)mortality but she further deconstructs its patriarchal framework through her female personification evoking angel, eagle, rising pheonix and/or creatrix. perhaps a peformance act of pure wishful thinking to mend humankind’s errors NOWhere in the hopes of transcending an otherwise impossibility of mobility and metaphor of the existential predicament.
