Performance Event

Throughout the interactive ludic Apple Bobbing Contest, the artist disseminates coupons to visitors to queue up for an Apple Bobbing adventure. Much like the children’s game; participants are masked and hands bound behind their backs; as they blindly dunk their head into the barrel of water in the hope of biting into a floating apple. For recipients lucky enough to bob up with a bite of an apple; is the gift of an effigy from Venifica’s ‘Bobbe Myseh’ Doll Archive ! The winners coupons are pinned on the wall with the accumulating collection of dolls to be retrieved at the end of the exhibition.
