Time Based Installation In Situ

Presented in a vacant store front, this installation comprises a wood scaffolding, funnelling falling salt, and on the vitrine white vinyl text appropriated from a Middle School Science book :

Knowledge begins in wonder

All thoughts are based on experience

Each experience is worth 10 demonstrations

All thoughts are past

The salt slowly falls and accumulates filling up the vitrine. The white lettering disappears into the salts fine white mass rendering the text invisible.
