Drawing Installation

Cotton rags stained with pigment (left over artefacts from the drawing process) are suspended on pins in a playful and provoking installation evoking menstrual pads,

Cultural norms and religious taboos surrounding menstruation are often traditionally associated with bad spirits, shame, and embarrassment surrounding sexual reproduction. In some cultures, women bury their clothes used during menstruation to prevent them from being used by evil spirits.
